Bring your horse to Cheshire –  Ride the Delamere Loop ;  Delamere forest; or book the facilities at Kelsall Hill Equestrian centre.   Barley Rise can provide stabling and accommodation for horse and rider.

Our Stables are large with rubber matting and straw beds provided, shared use of tack room and mucking out equipment.   We can cater for trailers to large horseboxes and have a large yard for easy parking and turn around.

Accommodation for the humans is in a converted railway carriage beautifully fitted out with 2 comfy single beds, mains electric – microwave, fridge, kettle with crockery, cutlery, glasses and the all important bottle opener!   plus Bar-B-Q.     Quality bedding and towels are provided.     There is a modern heated shower room, toilet & washbasin together  with dressing area with mirror and sockets , including a hair dryer!

If you need more accommodation then Barley Lodge sleeps 5 in 3 bedrooms,  double, a twin and single room.

Delamere Forest offers some fantastic hacking and also hosts Le Trec / Endurance events through the year.  The Delamere loop is also easily accessible and offers 22 miles of tracks and minor roads.

Kelsall Hill Equestrian centre is a miles from us, and if facilities are pre-booked access can be gained through the rear gate via primrose wood meaning that you can hack up from Barley Rise.  Kelsall hill hosts many events through the year including  Dressage, Show Jumping and Eventing competitions, it has superb riding facilities –  Farm Ride, All Weather Gallops, cross country training, Arena & Show Jumping hire.

Hay/Hayledge can be provided at cost please request at time of booking.
