Riding holidays in Cheshire – bring your own horse or pony to Barley Rise. We have 5 large stables most with rubber matting and deep straw bed provided for your horse, camping facilities for the riders and family/friends. We can cater from trailers to large horseboxes and have a large yard for parking and turning. Camping in your horsebox, trailer or bring a tent, caravan or camper van. We have a stylish heated shower room, toilet & washbasin together with dressing area with mirror and sockets , so don’t forget your hair dryer! We can provide you with electric hook-up for your horsebox/caravan or tent.
If camping isn’t your scene then book Barley Lodge which sleeps 5 in 3 bedrooms, double, a twin and single room. Whether you are looking for new riding experiences or visiting Cheshire for a well deserved break or competing at one of the local events Barley Rise can accommodate you and your horse. We are also well located for those travelling to Ireland and it makes a useful stop over to rest your horses.
Delamere Forest offers some fantastic hacking and also hosts Le Trec / Endurance events through the year. The Delamere loop is also easily accessible as is the sandstone trail and primrose wood. Kelsall Hill Equestrian centre is less than a miles from us, and if facilities are pre-booked access can be gained through the rear gate via primrose wood meaning that you can hack up from Barley Rise to Kelsall Hill. Kelsall hill hosts many events through the year including 2 British Eventing competitions, it has superb riding facilities from a Farm Ride, All Weather Gallops, cross country training, Arena & Show Jumping hire.
We offer large stables with rubber matting and bedding provided for the best accommodation for your horse, bring your horsebox/tent/caravan and we can also provide a perfect location for you.
